Our story

My journey is started when i lost my Nokia 1100 mobile 4 years back, for i bought Sony Ericsson K220i Mobile with VGA camera which was costing 2.2k that time. This phone has no Bluetooth but Infra red . At that time my dad was having Nokia 3230 which has both Infrared and Bluetooth. Simply i started by taking self portraits(just like that) and used to transfer it to my dad`s mobile via Infrared when the count of picture reaches 19, yes we cant store more than 19 pics since it doesn't have memory card(only in-build memory) . From my dad`s mobile i used to transfer those photos to my desktop by Bluetooth device( i couldn't buy a data cable for both mobiles) . Once i got my pictures in my computer i will start editing it by Picasa . I used to do all that i could possibly do by picasa because i was not aware of any other software . Finally i will upload the edited pictures in ORKUT. This way it got started. My sony was alive only for 15 months then i got a gift from my aunt, it was Nokia 2700 classic. Started doing the same but it was having Bluetooth which reduced my time transferring photos to my computer. Two years back i was 4 month old in software industry. It was my training days when i got another gift from my brother Gautom .It was samsung wp10 digital camera where i started to give attention to technical details. Finally, on a fine day Aug 6 2011 i got a SLR Canon 550D ( after 6 month of research, discussion, confusion). Thanks for JP(Jayaprakash) for instigating to buy SLR .There was no saving involved here, yes as like many others i used my friends(Ganesh kumar) credit card. I was thinking i can do all now by SLR when i bought that, later only i came to know the amount i have to invest to get the gears i need. Its high end 6six digit number. Lately a line changed my perspective " What we don't have really doesn't matters, what matters is what we do with what we have ". Still am a self-portrait fanatic :)

It is a classic tale of curiosity leading to genuine interest leading to a cherished profession in my case. Today, my IT education augments my photography but it is photography that gives me creative expression; enabling me to weave dreams out of real moments. My husband Varun Giridhara & I work together as a team on most of the shoots. We are based in Bangalore, India but we would be happy to travel anywhere in the world to capture your big day.
