Our story

I was always fascinated from beautiful photographs since i was a kid. My Dad had a Chinon film camera when i was very young i was always intrested to operate it and get some pictures in the way i want. Later dad gave me a very basic film camera from Kodak which i used it in my school days. Later my dad put a Photo color lab in Kundapur, i used to visit it very often to help my dad out. Few years later he opened a Studio in the color lab were he had got the first digital camera almost 5 years back, it was a Fujifilm Finepix (semi SLR). Using the camera i could study the use of aperture, shutter speed, ISO and basic stuffs. As years passed by 3 years back my dad got a Canon 400d. This was a turning point in my life in terms of photography. The first thing i learnt was to remove and put the lens back. Yeah i know it sounds wierd :P, then i just thought we could put up a better lens and get better pictures. I still remember i googled about the compatible lens for the camera i was so excited and confused at same moment. I was like "OMG, DSLR's are so flexible, just imagine you wanna take some picture and you can take it that way". Then as i started experimenting i found out that macro gives amazing pictures because the way the background gets blur. I thought it happens only in macro but as i saw some pics on Internet i was stunned to see that using appropriate lens you can get blur background for a outdoor portrait also. From that i had stopped googleing "HOW TO GET BLUR BACKGROUND FOR PICTURES? :P". I clicked many pictures usung my dad's DSLR and i was very satisfied for the way it came out to be, i uploaded them on Facebook, looking at the response it kept me motivating to click more pictures. But i could use my dad's camera only when i was in his office as i moved out i could see so many things around which made feel "SHIT I WISH I HAD THE CAMERA NOW". But i felt i can still remove pics using my phone. I had a Nokia 5230 2MP, camera clarity was ok not that great but still could managa to get good pictures, that was the day i realised its not the camera its man behind it. So whenever i could find something ineresting i used to click the pictures with my phone and update it on Facebook. Then i used to lend camera's from my friends and used to keep with me for a day or two so that i get many pictures. The day changed when i managed myself to get a Canon 500d with kit lens. It was the day i was extremely happy, 2 years of saving pockets made me get soemthing which could really make me continue my passion. It was the most motivating day of my life. Till now it has been a very awesome journey and i would obviously take up photography as my passion once i am done with my engineering. So i would thank all of you for the love and support for making me realise my potential and keep me motivating CHEERS!!!

It is a classic tale of curiosity leading to genuine interest leading to a cherished profession in my case. Today, my IT education augments my photography but it is photography that gives me creative expression; enabling me to weave dreams out of real moments. My husband Varun Giridhara & I work together as a team on most of the shoots. We are based in Bangalore, India but we would be happy to travel anywhere in the world to capture your big day.
